Vegetarian Recipes are Worth a Try!

Cooking vegetarian recipes is not hard. In fact, here are 31 easy, fast and healthy vegetarian recipes to try with a friend or your family. If you dive in and try some of these, I think you’ll be amazed at how the flavors of these recipes pop and the timing is great since World Vegetarian Day is October 1st!

5 Recipes to Help You Eat More Vegetables!

Vegetarian quiche works for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Make a healthier crust by cutting several whole wheat tortillas and laying them in a single layer on the bottom of your quiche/pie pan.

Vegetarian pizza is a crowd pleaser every time.

Vegetarian chili is a fun twist on a fall tail-gate party favorite.

Simple quinoa salad is a trendy and healthy option for lunch, dinner or a pot luck meal.

Spicy sweet potato hummus is a twist on the ever-popular Mediterranean chickpea hummus.

Challenge Yourself to Include More Veggies!

You will add color, crunch, new flavors and great nutrition to your meal when you include more veggies. An easy way to ‘branch out’ is to look in your grocery store’s weekly flyer and then add one new vegetable to your shopping list. At the store, ask a Produce Department clerk or manager to explain to you how to cook your new vegetable, or if it works raw with a healthy dip. Get on-board and join me in your pursuit of a healthier lifestyle. On Facebook, I offer daily features with tips to help you, so please LIKE my page and join the discussion!
