Baking Can Be Healthier Depending on Your Ingredients
Most of us think of baked desserts as decadent or not so healthy. But this is not the case if your ingredients check the boxes for quality nutrition and/or a smaller amount. The Mixed Berries Crisp is a perfect example since its primary ingredient is berries and it calls for very small amounts of sugar, brown sugar, and butter. Also, the lemon juice and oats contribute positively to its overall nutrition. When you taste this recipe it will be clear to you that sweet and healthy can coexist.
