How to Put Tips into Practice
This is the hard part of establishing new, healthier nutrition habits. Putting any new, healthier lifestyle behavior into practice, day-by-day, is totally worthwhile. But, it takes desire, determination, and consistency to be successful. Here are 3 ways to succeed:
- Remind yourself every day of your new nutrition habit – such as any of the 10 above. Say it out loud if that gets your attention better. Tell a friend what you’re doing. Ask a friend to join you in making a positive nutrition shift.
- Have a can-do attitude for success with your new nutrition habit. Be super positive, dance, sing, and tell yourself that ‘you’ve got this.’
- Be patient with yourself in achieving your new nutrition habit. The shift takes time and sometimes it’s 3 weeks or sometimes it’s 3 months.
